This announcement is for a Full Time Lead Sales Store Clerk, NF-02, for the United States Disciplinary Barracks Sales Store.

### Responsibilities
* Greeting, explaining, and assisting customers in purchasing various items produced within the vocational shops of the USDB.
* Operating a cash register, handling transactions of cash, credit, check, and in-house charges following rules and regulations set in place to safeguard transactions.
* Maintaining weekly inventory levels based on demand; stocking shelves; and correctly pricing items.
* Ensuring prompt customer receipt of purchased items, either with in store pick up or making sure the item gets shipped.
* Perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of activity operations to include compilation, copying, sorting and filing of daily transactions.

* Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
* A one year probationary period may be required
* Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
* Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty
* Work in accordance with Prison Rape Elimination Act
* Work closely among correctional facility inmates
* Possess and maintain the emotional stability to work among correctional facility inmates
### Qualifications

Experience in retail sales, merchandising, cash register operations and inventory controls.
**Highly Preferred**: Candidates possessing experience in working in a correctional facility will be considered Highly Preferred and will be referred to management prior to other qualified applicants. If your resume does not support the Highly Preferred claim, you will not be considered Highly Preferred.
